Worship

According to the Westminster Catechism, one of the founding guidelines of the Presbyterian Church, the principle purpose of humanity is to glorify God and enjoy the Lord forever.  We gather in worship as the people of God, praising the Lord through music and prayer, and meet the Lord in scripture and the Word proclaimed.

If you feel most connected to God in a casual environment that offers upbeat praise music, community prayer, beautiful choral music, traditional hymns with accompaniment on the organ and piano, and a liturgy of prayer and scripture, you will be at home in our Sunday worship service that begins at 10 a.m.  We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion the first Sunday of each month and special services throughout the year.

Our service includes a warm welcome, music, readings and a sermon centered on the Word. When you enter the sanctuary, you will be greeted by a friendly face, handed a bulletin of the events of the day, and up and coming happenings in the future at the Church. Those who attend find that it centers them in the Spirit of God, spiritually re-charges them for the week ahead, and teaches them how they can serve others. We invite you to come and share with us the wonderful spirit of the Living God.

There is no dress code for God’s house. People wear everything from jeans and t-shirt to their “Sunday Best” suits and dresses  Honestly, we just want you to be comfortable—so please come as you are.

We celebrate the Sacrament of Communion on the first Sunday of the month, and seasonally during Christmas and Easter.  The Sacrament of Baptism occurs throughout the year.  Contact the church office or Pastor to schedule baptism for your children or for yourself.
